Development of a model of an automated monitoring system for main gas pipelines in order to ensure fire and industrial safety

In order to increase main gas pipelines fire safety level consideration of safety ensuring approach developed on the basis of synthesis is executed. The inverse problem of safety management based on natural-scientific approach to the management synthesis is solved during the main gas pipeline safety level analysis in conditions of limited resources. Modeling threat occurrence and safety ensuring processes is executed using the Kolmogorov equations system and Markov processes. As a result of modeling, quantitative values of safety criterions were determined in systems with applied automated monitoring and without it. Calculations substantiate the necessity to use automated monitoring systems for enhancement of safety criterion value.

Fire site survey features to obtain information needed to address regulatory specialization issues

This article proposes an approach to solving the problem of rational distribution of forces and means of the unified state system for the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations (hereinafter referred to as RSChS) for the prevention of wildfires according to space monitoring data. The approach is based on the theory of schedules, in particular, the method of sequential analysis and elimination of unpromising options. The initial data is the number of operational groups designed to confirm a natural fire according to the detection of thermal points, the number of all detected thermal points, the time the operational group checks each thermal point. By a certain analysis and screening out of unpromising sequences of work, an acceptable set of sequences is determined. From a valid set of sequences, the most optimal one is selected. The example demonstrates the algorithm for solving the problem.

Trends in changes in the risks of natural hazards in the Russian Arctic, on the example of the forest zone of Eastern Siberia

The current trends of changes in average monthly air temperatures in the Arctic and Forest land-scape zone of Eastern Siberia, as well as the relationships of these processes with variations in the total area of wormwood, which are formed in the summer months in the ice cover of the seas of Laptev and East Siberia. It is shown that in many territories of the Arctic zone of Eastern Siberia, significant changes in average monthly temperatures of summer months in 2010-2020. As a result, the risks of many natural hazards could not be increased. Therefore, the probable cause of their ac-tual increase is anthropogenic.

On the need to create a voluntary certification system «Arctic quality mark»

Quite a large number of voluntary certification systems have been created in the Russian Federation. Creation of a system of voluntary certification of the Siberian Federal University “Arctic Quality Mark”, the main criterion for the creation of which is its accreditation abroad, because the construction of modern mining, transport and processing complexes is carried out, as a rule, within the framework of international projects, with the involvement of foreign technical specialists who are focused on the use of technological equipment that has certificates according to international standards, the same applies to the supply of products for export.

Automation of decision-making procedures for attributing objects of supervision to a certain category of risk in the field of fire safety

The provisions on the development of technologies for automating decision-making procedures for assigning objects of supervision located in the possession and (or) use (operation) of organizations and citizens, to a certain category of risk in the implementation of federal state fire supervision. A description is given of the structure of the automated decision support system and its basic algorithms, which are used to develop software modules for carrying out computational procedures for assigning objects of supervision to a certain risk category.

Determination of the area controlled by video cameras of the early fire detection system

The article considers the scheme of the rational arrangement of video cameras of the early fire detection system, which ensures the exclusion of blind sides, as well as coverage of the entire controlled area by surveillance. The analytical dependence has been obtained, which makes it possible to calculate the area of the controlled territory depending on the observation range of the video camera.

Fire resistance of translucent enclosing building structures with water irrigation

The article summarizes and analyzes the research experience of domestic and foreign scientists on the use of water irrigation to increase the fire resistance of translucent enclosing structures. The results of field experiments to determine the criteria for the destruction of conventional and special glasses with water irrigation are presented. Based on the results of the conducted research, the actual area of further research has been determined.

Improving the fire safety of a new composite finishing material by modifying its composition

Previously conducted studies [1] allowed us to approximately assume the nature of the behavior of new composite materials under the influence of heat flow and elevated temperature. As the results showed, the samples of the materials considered are combustible and in fire conditions can become a source of additional danger if they are placed on evacuation routes. In order to reduce the level of flammability, Concept Tree LLC has modified the composition of its products by adding sodium tetraborate (borax) to one of the composites. This work is devoted to the assessment of fire-hazardous properties and the establishment of a fire hazard class of a modified composite material, according to standard GOST methods and thermoanalytical studies.
