This article analyzes the influence of Orthodox culture on the social security of society and the individual in Russia. Orthodox culture is one of the main factors of the formation of a spiritual and moral personality and an ascetic way of life in society, which contributes to the establishment of harmonious relations between nature, society and man, reduces the severity of modern crises in the social space of Russia.
