Development of predictive behavior of digital equipment used in the oil and gas industry

The main task of the Russian Federation is to diversify the economy (refusal to sell hydrocarbons or reduce their share in the formation of the country’s budget). However, it is not possible to quickly implement this approach. Some experts predict that this process could take decades. Therefore, at the last investment forum, a decision was made on the digital transformation of the oil and gas industry, taking into account the introduction of new approaches in ensuring fire safety. The author of the article proposes to use an exponential distribution law. This will allow assessing all possible risks of system failure, foresee predictive behavior of digital equipment, and ensure the timely development of compensating measures.
